Three provided me with a free signal booster box soon into the start of my contract which plugs into my broadband router and gives me an exceptional mobile signal in my home. The main task will be to find an appropriate place to fix an outdoor antenna of a bt phone amplifier. However as they also work with bt ee i got an ee signal booster box on ebay and registered it successfully this morning and now have a full 4 bar 3g signal throughout the house. Up to four people can connect to your signal box at any one time.

The signal box was on trial and it s far from a perfect solution again internal insulation can cause the radius of the box to drop calls and it s only limited to your home. When you re on a call connected through your box the green light will flash slowly and you ll hear a beep at the start of the call. However if you have a slower broadband connection this could be limited to one or two people. Once activated your signal box will automatically work.

I would like to ask bt if they would be able to provide a similar device to what david and myself have now should i sign up to bt mobile next month. However there is talk that a new bt hub may have one built in but this is just specualtion. Wi fi calling is limited to certain handsets but can be used in most wi fi networks.

At the moment bt mobile don t offer any sort of signal booster. Visit the bt mobile coverage checker and search by postcode or name to check the strength of your indoor and outdoor signal. They had no idea when they be available again. The ee singal box works well i used to be on ee and managed to get one before i left.

But it took months of calls to ee to get one. I too was told by bt that the signal assist boxes were no longer available as the trial has ended. Bt mobile recently introduced wi fi calling.
